🍀Smart Impulse is the tale of a graduation project which has evolved into an ambitious and committed entrepreneurial adventure!

In 2011, Charles and Henri, our two founders, got on the challenge of revolutionizing energy management in buildings.

In a nutshell, we develop next-generation electrical measurement solutions that are easy to install, allowing, from a single measurement point and patented algorithms (Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring NILM), to identify the consumption of each type of equipment in a building (lighting, heating, IT, ventilation, etc).

The analysis of this data enables building managers in the tertiary sector to identify and track energy savings.

As our solutions are now deployed in over 3,500 buildings across 50 countries, an unprecedented market opportunity has arisen, giving us the potential to greatly expand our activity and become the standard for monitoring electrical consumption.

Join our team of +60 Impulsors who contribute daily to shaping the future of energy innovation!

🚀 THE CONTEXT

We are looking for an engineer to study the energy consumption of our clients’ buildings, mainly commercial buildings spread across 40 countries. By using Smart Impulse's algorithm technology, the objective is to help our clients better understand their electricity consumption by end-use and offer them the appropriate support to help them reach their energy efficiency goals.

You will join a team of 15 experts and report to Alexis, Energy Efficiency Manager

🎯YOUR MISSIONS

On a day-to-day basis, you will have a cross-functional role that combines data analysis, project management, customer support, and technical skills:

  • You will study our clients’ buildings to understand the activity, energy consumption, and collect information about the equipment on-site.

  • You will run our innovative algorithms and analyze all the data to provide the breakdown by end-use to our clients, giving them access to the data on Smart Impulse’s platform.

  • You will support clients (progressively and as a team on certain projects) by presenting the results of their building’s consumption profile and providing them with quantified energy-saving recommendations.

  • On a weekly basis, you will monitor the evolution of the electrical consumption of buildings in your portfolio. You will provide highlights to share with customers, such as identifying dysfunctional equipment on-site or potential energy savings.

  • You will be directly in contact with customers to answer their questions during the life of the contract and will hold annual meetings with them to share the yearly electrical consumption evolution with data valorization.

  • You will be involved in the success of your projects (individually and as a team). For all contracts you are involved in, you will be part of a project team with a customer success manager and a sales manager, sharing the operational tasks and monitoring client satisfaction.

  • You will share client feedback, suggest improvements for the technology and the various tools you work with, thereby contributing to the continuous improvement of the solution.

📈EVOLUTION PERSPECTIVES

> 1 year : according to your capacities and aspirations, you will take responsibilities of complex or strategic projects and contribute to international projects

> 2 years : according to your capacities and aspirations, you will manage complex projects and take over the operational management of deliverables with junior engineers in the team. You will also have the opportunities to work on different missions of continuous improvement for the Energy Efficiency team.
